I spent some time in the hospital when I was a child and am so grateful for the care I received. When I heard about the Mount Sinai Fashion Fundraiser, I decided that it would be a great opportunity to give back to the medical professionals who dedicate their lives to helping others.

Being a part of this event is my humble way of giving back to the society. The Mount Sinai Fashion Fundraiser is our first big event and I am happy to be working with the most kindhearted, talented and passionate people. I know that this event will bring our community together and help raise the funds for Mount Sinai as they continue to help those in need.

I am very excited to be apart of the first ever Mount Sinai Fashion Show Fundraiser! With previous volunteer experiences in the health care sector, I understand what this event means to Mount Sinai. I believe that this will be a great experience and is an amazing opportunity to network and help a worthwhile cause. May 12th will be marked as a night where fashion meets medicine.

I became a part of the team because of 3 main reasons; wanting to be involved with a worthwhile cause, my love for fashion and the challenge of starting something new. Hospitals are facilities that will always need donations and support from the community. I am excited to work with the team and organize a night that will be entertaining and at the same time beneficial to the community!

Mount Sinai has continued to strive for excellence in patient care and patient satisfaction. Having a post graduate degree in Marketing and Advertising from Humber College I was able to build on my knowledge while partaking in this event. This is a wonderful event giving me both marketing experience as well as allowing me to help out a great cause.

Being in public relations, I was determined to get into Corporate PR, but got side tracked when I first found out about the Mount Sinai Fashion Show Fundraiser. The more I began to read about the fundraiser and what it stood for, the more intrigued I was. Helping others just comes naturally to me, so it was a perfect opportunity to show my gratitude by offering my voluntary services. Besides, who doesn't love a fashion show!?

I've always loved Fashion and Event Planning. Last summer I graduated from George Brown College's Event Planning program. When the opportunity to help out with the Fashion Show Fundraiser for Mount Sinai Hospital came up I did not hesitate. Having just undergone surgery myself, I feel this is a great way to put my skills to use. I am a very social person; working with a big team and meeting new people is always very exciting for me.
